Hey Kiya, it’s Barb. I don’t know if this is the proper place for this or not. I seem to be having difficulty with my shoulder. I guess it’s calcified tendons and a partially torn bicep. Going to physical therapy twice a week he’s just giving me exercises to do. Actually, I think they’re just stretching , if you could maybe do a video to help address this condition? As well as any anti-inflammatory foods. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you. Love you always .
Frozen shoulder
Thanks so much for this amazing question Barb!
Everything I teach is built around injury prevention and activating the deep core muscles so you learn to move from the inside out.
The specific skills I think we all need to be practicing for our strongest and healthiest bodies are: Mobility, Stability, Balance and Deep Core Connection.
I recommend heading into the “Getting Started” section and check out the hip and shoulder mobility classes.
Your secret weapon for stabilizing the shoulder joint and protecting the injury in your bicep is BREATHWORK.
I recommend practicing Breathwork at min - 3 minutes every morning. And bringing mindful, controlled breathing into your workouts as well.
Keep me posted. I got you! Proud of you. Warriors forever!!
